Christmas Sampling

We will start with Christmas Eve. It is "TRADITION" (in the grandest of singing voices for all you "Fiddler on the Roof" fans) for us all to get together at Grandma's house, eat (of course) and sing Christmas carols. It is one of my favorite times.

This is my Uncle Lenny who was home for the holidays. He has been in Iraq this year. It was so great to have him back! (He's with his youngest granddaughter Mira, who is SO SWEET!)

Amanda and her two little ones, Caleb and Hannah, along with their Granny, my Aunt Renee

Trey, Kimberly and Luke, singing (yes, we pass out music sheets...this is serious, people!!)

Aaralyn LOVED the music...It was so fun to see her enjoy this tradition this year!

My Dad and Mom singing a duet. It was so wonderful to hear them sing together. I haven't heard my Mom sing in years and it blessed my soul.

We do all, if for no other reason, for her. My beautiful Grandma. I love her.

When all was said and done, it was late. Aaralyn was tired. Very tired.

On to Christmas morning.

Marlana making cinnamon rolls on Christmas morning.

Aaralyn checking out the Christmas Goodies.

Breakfast of Champions...or sleepy little girls eating on the floor while opening presents

Elise chilling with her Papa

First gift..."hip-a-pos-sis!"

Aaralyn's oh-so-fun "Negos!"

Donny getting new car speakers!

Elise is such a sweetie. Here she is taking a (too short) nap.

At Grandma Branning's house for more fun!

Our friend, Chris Tavalare, came over from Tallahassee to join us. Thanks, Chris. We had fun!

Grandma and her great-grandkids. She loves them so much, and they love her too!!

Christmas was so wonderful. We are so blessed to have such a great family. Thank you, everyone, for all your love!

More to come...
